Tyler Morandi — Founder & Principal

Type Two Capital Partners was founded by Tyler Morandi, a real estate investment and development executive with more than a decade of experience delivering complex projects representing over $1 billion in aggregate capitalization.

His experience spans the full investment and development lifecycle: acquisitions, capital structuring, entitlements, design and construction management, and asset stabilization — executed at institutional scale as a Vice President at a Boston-based institutional investment and advisory firm and at the platform level as Chief Development Officer of an outdoor hospitality startup.

Based in Crested Butte, Colorado, he brings a conviction-driven, operator's perspective to every engagement and a genuine connection to the outdoor and experiential assets the firm pursues. An avid skier, biker, and fly fisherman, the outdoor spaces he invests in are the same ones he calls home.
